I believe that when God calls you, money should never be a reason to say no.
My name is Caitlyn Peterson, and I've been a missionary based in Texas since 2017. I grew up in California going on short-term mission trips, which began to grow the faith muscle of support-raising. In ministry school after college, I was trained in partnership development for long-term missions. During that season, I also encountered The Prayer Room Missions Base in the Dallas area and felt the Lord's call to join them as a missionary. I began building my own financial partnership team in 2016, and have been fully funded ever since!
In 2023, I married my husband, Preston! He initially felt called to the marketplace, but while we were engaged God surprised him by clearly leading him into missionary life at The Prayer Room as well (along with using his veteran benefits to go back to school). We're now raising partnership as a two-missionary family and so excited for this next chapter!
Introducing Fearlessly Funded
In summer 2024, the idea of Fearlessly Funded began to take shape. I've taught courses on partnership development at The Prayer Room and have been sharing templates and tips with friends for years. I have a deep passion to see missionaries overcome the overwhelm of partnership development and be empowered to say YES to God's call without financial hindrance.
I have so many ideas for where this thing could go, but for now, I have a few freebies available on my Welcome page, and I'm especially focusing on growing my email community, where I'll share regular encouragement, tips, and resources. I promise to pack every email with value to strengthen your ministry journey!
